Excel Reflection Blog

The assignment will be useful to me as a teacher because I will need to be recording students grades, attendance and graphs and Excel is a good way to organize them.

I liked the fact that you can type in one equation and drag down or over to get the rest of the answers. I also liked that the attendance sheet made it easy to see who is always attending class and who isn't. The red A's made it even easier to see the attendance of each student. I didn't like the graphs or doing all the equations for the grades.

I found hyperlinking of each of the sheets to be difficult but I did resolve it by using online sources (Google and youtube).

I think that I did the names and information well but didn't do very well on the graphs or the grade sheet.

I learned alot on Excel. I learned how to use equations to my advantage in order to get the entire class' averages. I also learned how to organize data of a class in a spreadsheet which is helpful for not only myself, but if parents have questions about their students.
